Shanduka holds 13% in Lace Diamond Mine Pty Ltd (LDM) alongside Diamondcorp PLC (74%) and Sphere Holdings, 13%). LDM is a re-opened diamond mine in the Kroonstad area and has obtained new order prospecting rights over Ruby 691 (owned by LDM) and adjacent property.

The operations of LDM will consist of reprocessing of tailing dumps from the previous exploration. This reprocessing is estimated to take up to three years. The revenue generated will finance the feasibility and operation of futher open cast and underground mining of diamonds.
